Steel skin PU sandwich panels are building materials used in construction and industrial fields. Its structure is very simple and is made of polyurethane (PU) foam core sandwiched between two layers of steel sheets. In addition to its good thermal insulation performance, it has many advantages compared to other skin (FRP, CFRT, Aluminum) PU sandwich panels.

Advantages of Steel Skin PU Sandwich Panels
- More sturdy and durable: Steel is much harder than FRP and aluminum, so it can withstand more weight and resist external damage.
- Weather resistance: The steel surface is covered with a layer of galvanized or aluzinc coating and has been passivated. It can also be pre-coated to completely isolate the metal surface from contact with air and improve corrosion resistance.
- Economical and affordable: The price of steel is much lower than that of aluminum and fiberglass, which reduces a lot of capital investment for the project.

Application of Steel Skin PU Sandwich Panels in Modular Buildings
More and more buildings (such as mobile homes, cold rooms, warehouses, farms, etc.) choose modular construction and use PU sandwich panels to build houses. This not only simplifies the construction process and reduces labor costs, but also facilitates disassembly and installation. Importantly these materials can be reused, thus protecting the environment and reducing waste.
