Panel Structure

  • The panel is manufactured by laminating CFRT sheets onto high-quality plywood using high-strength waterproof adhesive under vacuum high-pressure pressing technology.
  • The flexibility of thermoplastic CFRT sheets allows the adhesive to fully penetrate and fill microscopic gaps between the plywood and composite skin and creates an exceptionally stable sandwich structure,
  • Unlike brittle thermoset FRP laminates, CFRT materials maintain a certain level of flexibility, helping absorb impact energy and reducing the risk of cracking or delamination during long-term use.

CFRT skins consist of multiple layers of thermoplastic unidirectional (UD) tapes laid at specific angles (typically 0°/90°). This cross-ply architecture provides tensile, compressive, and shear strength that significantly exceeds that of traditional thermoset FRP of the same thickness.

  • Enhanced Surface Protection

Traditional FRP uses a fragile gel coat that is prone to cracking and scratching. CFRT features a laminated protective film that, while offering a more functional finish, provides vastly superior abrasion and scratch resistance.

  • Recyclable & Sustainable

While thermoset FRP is notoriously difficult to recycle, CFRT is fully thermoplastic. The recycling process is simple and highly efficient—nearly 100% of the material can be repurposed. This makes it the ideal choice for markets with strict environmental and ESG regulations.

  • Marine-Grade plywood

Standard plywood often fails in high-humidity or high-salinity environments, rotting while the outer skin remains intact. TOPOLO utilizes waterproof and flame-retardant treated plywood that meets marine-grade standards, offering immunity to moisture-related decay and insect infestation.
