The two sides of the PET foam FRP panel are FRP, and the middle layer is PET foam. The PET foam and FRP are bonded together by adhesive. This process is achieved in a vacuum compressor. By extracting the air between the core material and the FRP skin, the bond is made tighter, achieving an effect similar to that of a mobile phone screen protector.
FRP Facing & PET Foam
- FRP is the abbreviation of fiberglass reinforced plastic, which is a composite material of glass fiber and resin. The surface of TOPOLO FRP is treated with a unique gel coat, and the glass fiber type and arrangement are also diverse to meet different application requirements.
- PET(Polyethylene Terephthalate) foam is a colorless and odorless environmentally friendly material, it is recyclable. It consists of a closed-cell cell structure, so the water absorption rate is extremely low. Compared with other foam materials, PET foam has better temperature resistance and mechanical strength.
