Description
Aluminum skin thermoplastic PP honeycomb core sandwich panels are lightweight composite structural materials that combine high strength, durability, and excellent weight-saving performance. The panels feature high-strength aluminum alloy sheets as the outer skins and a thermoplastic polypropylene (PP) honeycomb core as the structural core. The layered construction provides excellent structural strength and stiffness while significantly reducing overall weight.
Product Advantages
- Compared with conventional aluminum honeycomb sandwich panels, thermoplastic PP honeycomb cores offer lower density, good toughness, and excellent impact resistance. They can further reduce panel weight while maintaining the required structural stiffness. PP also provides excellent water resistance, corrosion resistance, and resistance to rot and mold, making the panels particularly suitable for vehicles and outdoor applications.
- The aluminum skins are finished with a PVDF coating, providing excellent weather resistance, UV resistance, and corrosion resistance. A wide range of colors and surface finishes can be customized according to project requirements, combining functional performance with an attractive appearance.
