Description
Thermoplastic FRP is a continuous fiberglass reinforced product, which is formed by interweaving and laminating multiple layers of unidirectional tapes at different angles. Compared with thermosetting FRP, the most obvious advantages of thermoplastic FRP are higher strength, lighter weight and better toughness.
Application on refrigerated trucks
XPS foam sandwich panels with thermoplastic facings can replace FRP facing sandwich panels to build refrigerated truck bodies, which is a lightweight option. Its impact resistance far exceeds that of the latter, and its cost is lower.
Product Advantages:
- Lightweight.
- Water and chemical resistant
- Impact resistant.
- Resistant to scratches.
- Thermal insulation.
- Thin thickness.
- Easy to process (cutting, drilling, etc.).
- Durable.
