As the development needs of the cold chain transportation industry continue to accelerate, multi-temperature refrigerated trucks have gradually become a new choice for transporting goods of different categories and storage temperatures. It can realize the transportation of multiple goods in the same batch, save transportation time and reduce transportation costs. Multi-temperature zone refrigerated trucks have both fresh-keeping and freezing functions. They can transport not only normal-temperature goods such as vegetables, fruits, and flowers, but also frozen goods such as meat, seafood, cold drinks, or medicines.
Features of multi-temperature refrigerated boxes
Multi-temperature vehicles typically have two to three cargo compartments, each of which can regulate and maintain a specific temperature range.
- Freezing area: usually maintained at -18~-20℃. This area is suitable for frozen goods that require extremely low temperature storage, such as frozen food.
- Refrigerated area: The temperature range is generally 2~8℃. This area is suitable for many fresh foods, pharmaceuticals, and other items that require refrigerated conditions.
- Room temperature area: The temperature in this area is usually maintained at ambient temperature, that is, 15~25°C. Some goods, such as some fruits, vegetables and some pharmaceuticals, may need to be transported within this temperature range.
Types of Multi-temperature Partitions
There are two types of partition partitions: Fix partitions and flexible partitions. As long as there is good sealing, both partitions can work well. Alternatively, solid rigid partitions can be fitted with doors to facilitate cross-zone operations. According to the direction of the partition, it is usually divided into transverse partition and longitudinal partition.
Application of multi-temperature refrigerated trucks
Multi-temperature refrigerated trucks are used in many industries. The following are its main application industries.
Store Delivery
The goods delivered to stores have small batches, many varieties, different temperature requirements, and frequent loading and unloading, which requires multiple doors. The use of multi-temperature zone refrigerated trucks can well distinguish these goods.
Pharmaceutical Transportation
The pharmaceutical industry has very high requirements for temperature control. Specific pharmaceuticals may need to be transported under strictly controlled temperature conditions to ensure their safety and effectiveness.
Flower and Plant Shipping
Some flowers and plants are very sensitive to temperature changes. Multi-zone refrigerated trucks can be used to maintain the proper temperature and humidity to ensure these plants are not damaged during transportation.
Chemical Transportation
Some chemicals are also very temperature sensitive and therefore require a specific temperature range to be maintained during transportation. Multi-temperature zone refrigerated trucks can provide an appropriate temperature environment for such chemicals.
