Their impact resistance is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass, 30 times that of acrylic plates of the same thickness, and 2-20 times that of tempered glass. Even if it is dropped from a height of two meters by a 3kg hammer, it will not have any cracks, so it is known as “unbreakable glass” and “ringing steel”.
Its relative density is between 1.3g/cm³~1.5g/cm³, and its weight is only 1/4~1/5 of carbon steel and half of ordinary glass. But its tensile strength exceeds that of hard steel, and its strength can be compared with alloy steel. It can greatly save your transportation, handling, installation and support frame costs.
The light transmittance of fibreglass roof panels is as high as 89%, which is comparable to glass. Workers will not feel eye fatigue when working indoors for a long time, and it is very energy-saving.
We added anti-ultraviolet agents (anti-UV) to the raw materials of fibreglass panels, which can filter out 99% of ultraviolet rays in the sun and greatly extend its service life.
It is not brittle in cold and not soft in hot, and the long-term use environment temperature is wide (-40℃~120℃). It does not grow moss and prevents the growth of microbial attachments. FRP contains glass fiber, which is resistant to strong winds (resistant to strong winds of 120 miles per hour) and can withstand hail attacks.
Fibreglass corrugated roof sheets have a service life of more than 15-20 years. Open flames do not support combustion and meet fire protection indicators. Non-toxic, formaldehyde-free, no carcinogenic microbial pollution such as asbestos, and meets world health standards.
A variety of colors are available. The conventional colors of this product are transparent, lake blue, grass green, milky white, brown, etc. In addition, flame retardant and other special properties can be selected according to your needs.
Fiberglass Roofing Sheets Vary in Transparency
- Typically transmit less than 30% of light. These sheets provide more privacy and shade, making them suitable for applications with less natural light.
- Allow 30-70% light to pass through. These are typically used in applications that require diffused natural light.
- Typically transmit 70-85% of light, providing high transparency similar to glass, but with a slight diffuse effect due to the fiber content.
