Strong and Durable

The autonomous driving van body is made of a new FRP (CFRT) skin sandwich panel. Thermoplastic matrix CFRT instead of thermosetting matrix FRP is an important innovation in composite materials. CFRT is a continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic material. The reinforcement characteristics of continuous fibers give it better mechanical properties, especially in resisting external impact. The box body with CFRT outer skin material is more likely to protect the goods in the box from damage in the event of an emergency than the box body with ordinary FRP outer skin.


Lightweight Design

In addition to the new FRP as the skin of the box panel, the core material of the box panel is lightweight foam material (XPS (extruded polystyrene), PU (polyurethane), PVC (polyvinyl chloride), etc.). These foam core materials are not only lightweight, but also have excellent thermal insulation effects, which is very beneficial for the distribution of products that need to be refrigerated or frozen (seafood, vegetables, flowers, cold drinks, meat, etc.). Compared with metal material (aluminum or steel) boxes, the weight of the FRP composite box is greatly reduced, which increases the mileage and reduces operating costs.


Weather Resistance

The surface of CFRT material is not as fragile as gel coat FRP. It can adapt to climate environments such as rain, snow, exposure, hail, ocean, and sandstorms. It is absolutely waterproof and has good UV resistance. The surface of the unmanned van will not fade or become brittle after long-term outdoor operation.
