Different from traditional wooden boards in the RV market, PVC foam sandwich panels are heat-insulating, sound-insulating and non-absorbent. It greatly reduces the weight of the RV and is an excellent new lightweight material.

The following table shows the performance parameters of PVC structural foam for RVs
| Physical Properties | Standard | Unit | Values |
| Nominal Density | ISO845 | Kg/m3 | 60 |
| Density | ISO845 | Kg/m3 | ≥54 |
| Compressive Strength | ISO844 | MPa | ≥0.7 |
| Compression Modulus | ISO844 | MPa | ≥60 |
| Tensile Strength | ASTM C297 | MPa | ≥1.5 |
| Tensile Modulus | ASTM C297 | MPa | ≥57 |
| Shear Strength | ASTM C273 | MPa | ≥0.63 |
| Shear Modulus | ASTM C273 | MPa | ≥16 |
| Shear Strain | ASTM C273 | % | ≥10 |
| Water Absorption | ISO 2896 | % | ≤2 |
Advantages of PVC Foam Sandwich Panels
- Lightweight and high-strength PVC foam is an expanded foam, which is very light in weight and also has good specific stiffness and strength. RVs made from it can be more durable and more fuel efficient.
- Thermal and sound insulation PVC foam core panel is a good thermal and sound insulation material, which can ensure the appropriate temperature inside the RV, reduce noise, and improve the user’s living and driving experience.
- Waterproof and corrosion-resistant Fiberglass and PVC foam are corrosion-resistant to water and most common chemicals. Such an RV is easier to clean and lasts longer.
- Good weather resistance Both the fiberglass skin on the outside of the panel and the PVC foam core on the inside have good resistance to ultraviolet rays. This type of RV can be used well even in some extreme outdoor environments.
- Easy to process and install This type of board has good dimensional stability and processability. There is no need to embed the frame inside. The integrated composite RV panel is easier to process and install.
One piece PVC sandwich panels suitable for quick installation
The RV body using PVC foam sandwich composite structure does not require a frame when assembling it. It is a one-piece composite panel, and each side uses a complete sandwich panel. Therefore, during installation, you only need to use metal edging profiles to join them together.

RV Wall Panels
For RV wall panel materials, we recommend fiberglass PVC foam sandwich panels or aluminum skin PVC foam sandwich panels. Using fiberglass skin or aluminum skin as the outer skin of the wall panel, and using PVC structural foam as the isolation layer material. It meets the lightweight requirements and performance requirements. At the same time, it significantly reduces the weight of the RV and provides better thermal insulation and sound insulation performance.

RV Flooring
Different from traditional solid wood floors, we cover the surface of fiberglass PVC foam sandwich panels with a layer of vinyl leather. The composite floor made in this way is strong, waterproof, and has the same tactile feel as solid wood flooring.
